Oman Across Ages Museum
A vast, futuristic museum where Oman's whole story comes alive β kids' zone included.
What you'll do
This huge, dramatically modern museum in Manah (20 minutes past Nizwa) walks you from Oman's geology and ancient civilisations right up to the modern renaissance β with immersive projections, life-size falaj and fort models, and interactive stations everywhere.
There's a dedicated children's discovery area, a good cafΓ©, and the building itself β a swooping angular landmark against the mountains β is half the show.
It's genuinely one of the best museums in the Gulf and works for all ages. Combine with Nizwa Fort for the full Dakhiliyah day.
