Falaj Daris is Nizwa's long-standing family hotel: two pool courtyards, gardens, a licensed restaurant and easy parking, four kilometres from Nizwa Fort on the Bahla road.
It's the comfortable version of the Nizwa weekend: fort and souq in the morning, Wadina Water Park after lunch, pool before dinner. Al Hoota Cave and the Oman Across Ages Museum are both an easy drive.
