What you'll do
Wadina is a friendly local water park on the edge of Nizwa, about 90 minutes from Muscat — an ideal add-on to a Nizwa Fort day or a cool-down on the way back from Jebel Akhdar.
The kids' section has four small slides and a rain-dance splash area; the main section has a lazy river with waves, tyre slides, mat racers and body slides. Under-1s and over-50s go free.
It's simple, cheerful and rarely crowded on weekdays — take the shade where you find it and the kids will not want to leave.

Swimwear, towels, sunscreen, water shoes for hot ground, and a change of clothes.
