Three Village Hike, Jabal Akhdar
A classic mountain walk through Al Aqur, Al Ayn and Ash Shirayjah - best for older kids who can handle rough paths.
What you'll do
This is the signature Jabal Akhdar walk if your family wants the real mountain villages rather than just a photo stop. The route links Al Aqur, Al Ayn and Ash Shirayjah, with terrace farms, old stone houses and falaj channels along the way.
It is a proper walk, not a stroller-friendly promenade. Go only if the kids can manage uneven paths, loose stone and a few hours on their feet.
π Bring & wear
Sturdy walking shoes, water, a hat and a light layer. The paths are uneven and rocky.
