What you'll do

Seeb Beach Corniche Park is a long, landscaped seafront promenade running along Seeb's coast between Mabela and the Seeb fish market β€” a proper palm-lined walkway with a dedicated jogging/cycle track on one side and a wide, calm sandy beach on the other.
The shallow, clear water makes it a genuinely good swimming beach for families, and the corniche itself is built for an evening out: bikes and scooters for rent, benches facing the sea, and enough open lawn and sand for a game of volleyball or football.
It's further out than Muscat's central beach parks, which keeps it a little quieter, and the whole strip is shaded by palms and lit at night for an after-dark stroll.

πŸŽ’ Bring & wear

Swim kit and water shoes, bikes/scooters if you have your own (rentals also available), sun protection for daytime visits.

πŸ’‘ Family tips

  • January-February and November-December have the most comfortable weather for a corniche walk
  • Go for sunset β€” the promenade fills with joggers, cyclists and families
  • Calm, shallow water close to shore suits younger children, but there's no lifeguard β€” supervise closely
  • Further from central Muscat than Qurum/Azaiba, so it's a genuinely quieter stretch of coast

🚻 Facilities

  • Bicycle and scooter rental
  • Dedicated cycle path and jogging track
  • Children's playground
  • Wide sandy beach with calm, shallow water
  • Ad hoc coffee stalls in the evenings
