Al Khuwair Central Park is a well-kept neighbourhood park in the heart of Al Khuwair, one of Muscat's most central districts — lush lawns, flower beds and shaded walking paths wrapped around a proper children's play area with slides and swings, plus outdoor fitness equipment for parents.
Because it's tucked into a residential part of Al Khuwair rather than on the coast, it's a good low-key, close-to-home option for a quick evening out rather than a big day trip — locals use it for after-work walks, jogs and family time on the lawns.
It gets busy with local families in the evening, especially after sunset when the day cools and the paths fill up with joggers and children on bikes and scooters.
