Climb to the giant incense burner, then hit the little funfair as the harbour lights up.
What you'll do
Riyam Park sits on the hill between Muttrah and Old Muscat, under the famous giant white incense-burner monument you can see from the whole corniche.
There are lawns, playgrounds and a small amusement area with kiddie rides that opens in the evenings, plus knockout views over Muttrah harbour — dhows, mountains and all.
It pairs perfectly with a corniche stroll and Muttrah Souq: park once, walk the seafront, ice cream at the park, rides at dusk.

- Go an hour before sunset: playground first, harbour view at golden hour, rides after dark
- Combine with Muttrah Souq — it's five minutes down the corniche
