What you'll do

Sama Heights sits high on the Jebel Shams plateau in a landscape of boulders and cloud — stone-built chalets, mountain-view rooms and Sultan-style tents, with a restaurant lodge and a playground.
It's the practical base for the canyon: the Balcony Walk trailhead at Al Khitaym is twenty minutes away, so families can walk in the cool morning and be back for lunch. Al Hoota Cave and Misfat Al Abriyeen fill the afternoon on the way up or down.
